Vagabondly Vagrant is a feature length documentary film that centers around the Couch Surfing community and the Non-Profit Organization CouchSurfing.org. CouchSurfing.org is a worldwide network of people that allow travelers to sleep in their homes free of charge, and helps travelers connect with the local communities that they visit.
The film will follow a small crew of young artists and filmmakers as they travel by van across North America staying exclusively with Couch Surfing Hosts. The goal of the journey is to interview Hosts and Couch Surfing Ambassadors in the cities visited in order to document their own personal experiences using the service. The film will also capture the escapades of the film crew’s venture Couch Surfing across the United States, simultaneously building and documenting their journey.
This is our production blog, where you can follow our project every step of the way. We’ll try to post any recent progress asap so that the people who made this project possible (that’s you!) can stay in the loop.
